How amazing is Easter celebration around the world?

Easter is a celebration of Christian that Jesus' supernatural resurrection from the dead. Christian believes, "death is swallowed up in Easter victory." AND "a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" is received.

Easter Season begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, ending with the coming of the 50th day! In those day’s Christian around the world celebrate Easter season in different color .

France
“The Giant omelets”
​Monday people fly throughout the cities delivering sweet treats to children and with a giant omelet served in the town’s square. The tradition dates back to a time when Napoleon and his army traveled through the area, stopping at the village of Haux, where they were served omelets. Napoleon was so pleased with the breakfast dish, he ordered the villagers to collect all their eggs to make a giant omelet big enough to feed an army - literally.

Czech Republic
“Water pouring and whipping girls”
Long sticks are decorated with colorful ribbons used as whips as they playfully tap women walking by. The idea is to transfer the fertility of the sticks to the women. 

Spain
​“Death Dancing”
A Death Dance taking place on Holy Thursday. In a nighttime procession, participants march the streets dressed up in skeleton costumes and reenact scenes from the Passion of Christ.

​Greece
​“Red EGG cracking Game”
Red eggs are a traditional part of the Greek Easter Sunday celebration. The red color symbolizes the blood and sacrifice of Christ on the cross and the egg symbolizes rebirth. Following midnight mass, an egg-cracking game is played where each person cracks their egg on top of another person’s egg. The cracking tradition symbolizes Christ's resurrection from the dead and birth into eternal life. The last person with their egg still intact wins. The winner is said to have good luck all year long

The origins of “Easter Crime” go back almost 100 years and acknowledged in internationally as one of the world's more unusual holiday traditions. During Easter week, most Norwegians  read mystery novels or watch detective shows on television. It's a mystery! Why crime fiction took over the Norwegian Easter holiday?

During the 50-day long celebration, the Australians observe a host of rituals like show in Sydney known as “the Royal Easter Show”, where the nation's best produce is exhibited. It also consists of displays of farm animals. There are various Easter festivals that are celebrated in Australia, which include 'Perth International Arts Festival' film festivals, and 'Sydney Royal Easter Show', which is an annual show that features the diverse multi-cultural heritage of the nation to the liveliness of the city life.

Ukrainian regions paska decorated with symbolic ornament connected with spring themes: the awakening of nature, resurrection, rebirth. ​

​Russia
“Easter Egg and special greeting”
“Easter eggs are arguably the most important part of the holiday. Hard-boiled eggs are traditionally painted red using onion skins; they symbolize resurrection and new life. Exchanging eggs is one of the most popular Easter customs.
So throughout the day people exchange Easter eggs, kiss each other on the cheek three times, and often say “Christ is risen!” to each other, responding with “He is truly risen!”

​Ethiopia
“Prayer, Gratitude and Special greeting”
​Ethiopian Christian celebrates ‘Fasica” in family gathering and passing with a special greeting. The origin of the word Fasica/ Paskha  Greek phrase “I suffer”. In accordance with Christian tradition, the word signifies transitioning with Christ from death to eternity and from earth to heaven.
