ADWA, the very first decisive victory of a black African power, is an important event in the shared memory of the entire African population. 

Empress Taytu Bitul is clearly a symbol of all the patriotic qualities of women, according to many historians. In his book “Battle of Adwa”, Paulos Milkias, said that:-

"Empress Taytu was not only a diplomat and stateswoman with resolve, but also an ingenious commandant versed in the art of war, a tactician par excellence".

Empress has shown the capability and personality of women in leadership role, particularly being cautious, skeptical, strategic, and tactful; and most importantly farsightedness.

The first tactic she used is to instruct her 1,000 special guards to take control of water sources that the Italians were using before the actual day of the war. As Italians then ran shortage of water, they were repeatedly driven back by the empress’s forces, according to Paulos. Many were trampled to death trying to return to the embankment. The Italians even appealed to her on the behalf of their commander as they started suffering from thirst.

The resounding ADWA  victory left Ethiopia as the only African country to successfully defend its sovereignty at the height of European imperialism. ADWA, demonstrated the spirit of unity, love and friendship among Ethiopians; but foremost, it showed the genuine role of women.

Easter is a celebration of Christian that Jesus' supernatural resurrection from the dead. Christian believes, "death is swallowed up in Easter victory." AND "a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" is received.

Easter Season begins on Easter Sunday and lasts seven weeks, ending with the coming of the 50th day! In those day’s Christian around the world celebrate Easter season in different color .

“The Giant omelets”

Sociologically speaking, the woman is the caregiver of the family. The mother or the mother figure in the family plays the undeniably important role of ensuring that the child grows into a well rounded human being. Psychologists and sociologists across the world are unanimous in their agreement on the importance of the mother’s role in the life of the child; the mother is responsible for not juts feeding and clothing the child, but also for developing them emotionally and psychologically.

The role of women in society and workplace is enormous,
For a long time, the belief was prevalent that women were suitable only for nursing and caring for children and the home. To look at the issue generally, we need to understand that women form half the population of the entire world. By not empowering half the population, we will be forfeiting the talents and strengths of half the human race.

Statistically speaking, this will slow down the progress of the human race considerably, with only half of the resources being utilized. This will be further expedited by providing equal opportunity for women, instead of stereotyping their functions and roles in the society.

Hence, understanding the importance of the role of women in society will allow us to grow further and at far more accelerated rates.

A positive cycle is when we operate at love-based thinking, will start to show/live positive behaviors such as open/Positive beliefs, motivation, happiness, trust, faith in self, other and the system and process of life, etc…
